In the healthcare sector, vacuum insulation panels (VIPs) play a crucial role in the shipment of temperature-sensitive goods. The health of the consumer is the top priority. If transport temperatures are too high or too low, medications can lose their effectiveness and, in the worst case, may even cause harm.

A thermal box, transport box, or container equipped with VIPs can significantly extend the duration of the required temperature range (for example, 2°C–8°C for pharmaceuticals) while maintaining the same energy input (i.e., the same number of cooling elements). At the same time, it allows for increased transport volume within identical external dimensions.

Interruptions in the cold chain can thus be prevented—even under extreme climatic conditions.
